Death of Man Pushed by Former AWA Owner Verne Gagne Ruled a Homicide

The Hennepin County medical examiner's office has ruled that the death of Helmut Gutmann, the 97 year-old man who was pushed by former AWA owner Verne Gagne, is a homicide. The report says that Guttman died of complications from a broken hip suffered after he was pushed at a nursing home on January 26. Gagne was not mentioned in the report, but he is accused of pushing the man.

The Bloomington Police Department is still investigating. Verne Gagne suffers from Alzheimer's related dementia and has no memory of the incident.
