Triple H Extends Invitation For Conor MacGregor And Floyd Mayweather To Appear On Raw
If Triple H has things his way, we could see an in-ring confrontation between Conor MacGregor and Floyd Mayweather on a future episode of Raw
It's no secret everyone is paying attention to the upcoming fight which is scheduled to take place on August 26 and everyone includes the WWE who is attempting to capitalize on this hype train. Triple H discussed the bout in a recent interview with Sky Sports
“Can a world-class boxer, probably the best ever, can he stand in the ring with an MMA guy? And can that MMA guy bring his striking skills up to the level of somebody like Floyd Mayweather?”
Triple H then extended the invitation for both men to make an appearance on an episode of Raw
“You say it is sports entertainment and, if they want to really showcase what they can do, I would invite both guys to come to Monday Night Raw. There is no bigger platform that they could have to show the world and tell the world, who they are, and why they are the man.”

Triple H Surprises Off-Duty Police Officer Injured In London Bridge Terror Attack
WWE superstar and COO Triple H surprised an off-duty Police Officer in the United Kingdom who was seriously injured as he fought off the London Bridge terrorists.
The emotional visit saw Paul Levesque, better known to WWE fans as "The Game" Triple H meet Charlie Guenigault, 25, who was stabbed multiple times as he took on the terrorist who brought about carnage on the iconic London Bridge.
It was reported that on the night of the attack Charlie was wearing a Sami Zayn t-shirt. Triple H praised Charlie for his "exceptional bravery" and played a personal video message recorded by Zayn.
Zayn said: “You put yourself in the line of danger at a time when you really had no obligation to do so.
“I can’t tell you how much respect I have for you. The fact you were wearing my shirt at the time really puts it into perspective for me."
"Sami Zayn has always been the guy known to stand up to the bad guys, but you did it in the most horrific of circumstances. Man, I’m just blown away, I really am.”
Triple H added: “To run in the direction of a scary situation that can’t even be described in words, to help others, for that to be your instinct to help others – that is a hero.
“People say a lot of times that they watch WWE because these guys are like real-life superheroes. Well, Charlie is a real hero."
Triple H presented Charlie with his very own WWE Championship title.

ESPN will honor individuals and teams for their contributions to humanitarian causes at a ceremony July 11 at L.A. Live.
Laila Ali will host the Sports Humanitarian Awards, which will now have one of its honors named after her father, Muhammad Ali. Proceeds from the event will benefit the Stuart Scott Memorial Cancer Research Fund at the V Foundation. ESPN will also grant another $1 million to the charities of the nominees and winners. More than $1.7 million was distributed from last year's event.
Rumor Mill - WWE said to be working towards a Triple H vs. Kurt Angle match
According to Dave Meltzer on Wrestling Observer Radio WWE officials are planning on doing a match between Triple H and WWE Hall of Famer Kurt Angle in the near future.
Meltzer did not comment on when the match will take place, or how they will get there, but it should be noted that there is currently a storyline WWE has been doing with Angle and Corey Graves.
Also, it was noted that RAW Commissioner Stephanie McMahon should be returning to TV soon to work play off Angle as the RAW General Manager.
Stephanie has not been seen on WWE TV since going through a table at WrestleMania 33. Kurt Angle was named the General Manager of RAW the night after WrestleMania.

Gail Kim On Triple H Creating Change For Women In WWE
According to the interviewer, Kevin Eck - who was on the WWE creative team in 2011 - Vince McMahon didn't think fans wanted to see women fight like men. Gail Kim talks about that environment and why it's changed:
"It wasn't politically correct to say out loud, nor would they say that straight up, but -- I'm not going to say which agent said it -- but they would tell us that Vince doesn't like that. I remember specifically a match I had on Superstars with Jillian [Hall]. We got seven minutes, which was rare back then -- we usually got three minutes. There's no way to tell a story in the ring in that time, so when we had a match on Superstars it was like a pay-per-view match [laughs]. Jillian and I had awesome chemistry, so we'd want to wrestle. We wanted to do a superplex off the top rope, and the agent -- again, I'm not going to name names -- said, 'Go ahead. I'll take the heat for it,' because he knew Vince wouldn't really be happy with that. Now I heard WWE has announced a Money in the Bank match for the girls. I honestly feel like [Triple H] has done so much for the girls, because he started that whole thing in NXT with the Four Horsewomen. When I left WWE, he was one of the people who was so positive. He told me, 'You're talented and don't let anyone else tell you any different.' I was very flattered and glad that he respected women's wrestling."
Former Steeler DeAngelo Williams to try his hand at pro wrestling
I guess while former Pittsburgh Steelers running back DeAngelo Williams waits for his next NFL opportunity, he’s going to keep himself busy. According to Brian Campbell of CBS Sports, Williams is going to make his professional wrestling debut on something called Impact Wrestling on July 2.
Williams is expected to enter the ring at Impact’s Slammiversary XV pay-per-view on July 2 in Orlando, Florida. Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter reported that Williams will compete alongside Moose in a tag team match against Chris Adonis and Eli Drake
Williams is an 11-year NFL veteran who spent the last three seasons with the Steelers. He has been an integral part of the offense in place of Le’Veon Bell, but Pittsburgh seems to have moved forward at the running back position. They signed Knile Davis in the offseason and drafted James Conner.
Big Change To WWE Total Divas Cast
RAW Women's Champion Alexa Bliss and Nia Jax were recently added to the cast of Total Divas for the seventh season, according to a new report from Pro Wrestling Sheet. Filming for the next season is scheduled to begin in a few weeks.
Bliss and Jax were added to the show after producers needed to find a replacement for Eva Marie. We've noted how Eva is not returning to the company and is focusing on her acting career instead. Producers reportedly interviewed the female WWE Superstars for Eva's replacement but decided on adding two new cast members.

Pete Dunne On Triple H's Response To Him Mimicking The Pedigree On The Indies, His Character In WWE
In episode 134 of Sam Roberts' Wrestling Podcast, WWE United Kingdom Champion Pete Dunne talked about his affiliation with WWE, developing his flagitious persona, and how Triple H reacted to Dunne doing Triple H's signature spots on the indies.
According to Dunne, he has "the best of both worlds," being able to work under WWE's umbrella while maintaining indie dates. Additionally, 'The Bruiserweight' shared that WWE has treated him very well and he has access to social media training, the WWE Performance Center, and professional wrestling veterans like Triple H.
"WWE has been absolutely brilliant to me and they've looked after me in every way that they can, and even from stuff like training in social media, that kind of stuff. And along with having exposure on these sorts of shows, bringing us out to America and training in the [WWE] Performance Center, and doing all of that, at the same time they're allowing me to do the independents. And I'm a bit different than most [professional] wrestlers, I think, in that I've always looked at independent wrestling as developmental. I didn't necessarily have to be signed to WWE to be learning that stuff. I've always tried to pick up as much knowledge as I could. Now, I continue to do so. Now, I also have access to the Performance Center and even access to people like Triple H, the great minds behind sports entertainment. So the thing for me is the best of both worlds. I love independent wrestling and it's not something that I wanted to leave behind straight away. But equally, I'm learning the way TV is done and the WWE style has been completely new, so I'm still learning on both sides."

Pete Dunne Says Triple H Has Been Incredibly Supportive
WWE UK Champion Pete Dunne spoke with WWE.com about beating Tyler Bate at NXT Takeover: Chicago to win the WWE UK Championship. Here are the highlights.
On his relationship with Triple H:
“It was really important to get a pep talk like that. Like I said, it’s always in our mind to go out there and kill it, regardless. We know that our future here is less secure than if we were full-time with the NXT brand or SmackDown LIVE or Raw, because we’re fighting to secure a full company in the U.K., and not just for ourselves. As far as the relationship with Triple H goes, he has been incredibly supportive and has given us a chance to make a name for ourselves. That’s one of the most overwhelming things about it. For myself and Tyler Bate to go out there and show what we can do in front of an audience that probably isn’t that familiar with what we do, I’m grateful.”
On who he wants to take on next:
“It doesn’t matter. Anyone and everyone. I want to get as much TV time as possible. I want to get the U.K. brand pushed as far along as possible. I’d love to get in the ring with Wolfgang or Mark Andrews or Trent Seven. I’d really love to have rematches with Tyler Bate. The more time I get in the ring with these people, the more time we have to secure our future, and the greater opportunity I have to prove myself as the future of WWE.”

WWE Superstar Shakeup: List of roster changes to SmackDown and Raw
With the WWE Superstar Shakeup now seemingly complete, the only thing left is to take a look at the roster moves and determine where the brands stand going forward.
Considering it was not a “draft” and WWE noted that all superstar changes would occur via trades, deals and other moves between the Raw and SmackDown Live brands, one would have expected some explanations about how every new wrestler wound up on his or her respective new show.
Nope.
Instead, WWE simply had these superstars appear on Raw and SmackDown without any explanation for how or why they got there. In fact, some of the moves are relatively convoluted considering the performers are involved in matches against competitors on their prior brand, rivalries WWE could have ended at WrestleMania 33 but for some reason chose not to.
Bray Wyatt, the No. 1 contender for the WWE championship (a SmackDown title), moved to Raw but will still face champion Randy Orton for the strap at Payback, a Raw pay-per-view. No mention has been made of what will happen if Wyatt wins the “House of Horrors” match.
Kevin Owens, the United States champion, took the belt from Raw to SmackDown (as Dean Ambrose did in reverse with the intercontinental title) but is still scheduled to defend the belt at Payback in a rematch against Chris Jericho, who remains on Raw. At least WWE clarified that Jericho would move to SmackDown should he regain the championship.
What WWE does from here is anyone’s guess. Wyatt beating Orton could take a world title away from SmackDown, but Orton beating Wyatt in the challenger’s signature match (no details provided at this time) would be another massive blow to Wyatt, who always loses big matches, particularly at pay-per-views.
OK, enough bloviating. Here are the new SmackDown and Raw superstars.

With NXT stars on to WrestleMania, Triple H is a 'proud papa'
Perhaps it’s fitting that Triple H will be standing across the ring from Seth Rollins, the first NXT champion, at WrestleMania.
Beyond his own match, though, Paul “Triple H” Levesque can look at the entire lineup on April 2 and see performers, ring announcers and broadcasters who have come through NXT, WWE’s developmental system based in Orlando.
Levesque, as WWE’s executive vice president of talent, live events and creative, has been the founder and chief architect of NXT and overhauled how the company recruits and builds talent.
All but three of the currently scheduled WrestleMania matches feature performers who spent time in NXT. It’s likely eight of the 10 NXT champions will be involved in WrestleMania, barring a surprise. Three of the five NXT women’s champions – Charlotte, Sasha Banks and Bayley – are in the same match.
“I’d be lying if I said I didn’t have that pride factor,” Levesque said. “It’s a huge moment to see those guys shine. I know what it feels like. I was there. I went through all of it. To me, it’s awesome to help them live their dreams.
“I get as much excitement of seeing these kids succeed as I do by far from any of the stuff I’ve done in my career. I’m not the one out there in front of the 100,000 people, but it’s like being a proud papa. It’s the difference between doing it yourself and watching your kids doing it. There is a difference in the kind of pride, but it’s still there.”...More?

Triple H Clarifies His Feeling On The Current NXT Product
Triple H recently remarked “I’m not happy with where it is right now by far” when referring to the NXT brand he created. In a conference call today to promote the upcoming NXT TakeOver: Orlando event he took time to clarify what he meant by the statement:
"Let me just say first off I'll never be happy with the product, probably, because I just never... I think that's the nature of what it is, you always want it to be better than it can be. You always want it to be more than what it is at that time. That being said, I want to make sure that I'm clear on that. That unhappiness had nothing to do with talent; that unhappiness had more to do with my end, with the creative, with our production, with all that. There were reasons for all of it. We were, you know, NXT, the Performance Center, designed to create a lot of things, designed to create everything that we do, really, not just in-ring performers. And it did that, it did that very well. When those people were moved up to take on different and maybe bigger responsibilities within the company, it sort of strip-mined NXT. So about the same time we lost a lot of our performers, at the draft we lost the entire women's division with the exception of Asuka. We had to start over in many ways, but we also did that behind-the-scenes and we kind of had to start over.
"So when I say 'unhappy with the product,' I'm happy with where we had brought it to. There are a lot of things that as NXT came up and changed, some of the things that worked got adopted by main roster, the things that worked got moved up, and we had to reinvent ourselves. I just didn't have the team and the capabilities... we just got caught. I'm much happier where we are now not because it's where I want to be but because I'm on a path to get there. To me, there's nothing worse than saying I'm unhappy with this and I don't have the means or the ability to fix it or I'm not on the way to fixing it. We're on the way to being where I want it to be now, to me. I think I would look to everybody out there as to whether NXT is getting better over time in the last few weeks or months but I feel like it is."

Shawn Michaels Updates Jim Ross On His TV Show and WWE Performance Center Status
Recently on The Ross Report, professional wrestling veteran 'Good Ol' J.R.' Jim Ross spoke with fellow WWE Hall Of Famer Shawn Michaels. Among many other things, Michaels talked about his hunting show, Shawn Michaels' MacMillan River Adventures, coming to an end, what professional wrestling shows he watches regularly, hammering out a deal to become a coach at the WWE Performance Center, and working with young talent.
According to Michaels, 2017 will be the final year of his hunting show. 'The Heartbreak Kid' said that he would rather being doing "easier stuff" at this point in his life.
"We are going to wrap up MacMillan River Adventures this year. This is going to be our last year. It's the seventh year. It has just become a little busy, and, again, I'm, I guess, way too lazy to travel that much now. And having enjoyed this warm weather so much, the thought of going away to a bunch of faraway, cold places, and live in a sleeping bag, and things of that nature… it was fun to do for a while just to push myself and to see if I could do it, and go on hunts that I've never had the opportunity to go on, so I'm so blessed and so fortunate to be able to go and do that, but now I'm so fortunate that I've got a ranch in Texas and if I want to hunt I can go there and do it, so Keith [Mark] and I are going to wrap up our final year, 2017, on MacMillan River Adventures and I'm going to just focus on just doing some easier stuff and, honestly, just see where the wind blows me to that."
Michaels divulged that when he watches pro wrestling, it is usually either NXT or 205 Live. 'The Showstopper' claimed that he watches those shows to inform him in his role working with younger talent.
"I watch a little bit. I mean, the majority of it is to… honestly, I watch more NXT and the 205 Live more than anything else, to be perfectly honest." Michaels continued, "I do that because, I mean, that's something that I'm interested in. I think in terms of, again, being here and being able to contribute and see what I can do, if anything, to help the younger wrestlers. That's the part that I enjoy, so, clearly, if you're going to do that, you've got to know about the product, and you've got to watch it, and you've got to be informed with the talent and the people that are there."

The Reason Why Impact Wrestling Owners Anthem Threatened Hardys With Legal Action
Further details have emerged as to why Impact Wrestling owners Anthem sent cease and desist orders to the Hardys, Ring of Honor and PPV distributors over Matt and Jeff appearing as their “broken” characters.
As reported by PWInsider, a source claims that Hardy filing the trademark for the "Broken Matt Hardy" name was the trigger as they believe Hardy wasn't the only person to create the character with names such as Dave Lagana, Matt Conway and Billy Corgan all being mentioned as key figures in having come up with the concept, therefore Anthem believe others deserve revenue from the character.
They want to pressure Hardy into signing a deal that gives Anthem a percentage of profits made from the gimmick.
ROH was forced to pull their recent PPV from DISH Network and the Hardys toned down their act for the PPV itself. According to Reby Hardy, The Hardys have full ownership of the gimmick.

McMahon Family WWE Salaries Revealed
If you're looking to start a little, mom and pop, family run business that you can one day pass on to your children, might I suggest opening up your own ridiculously successful multimillion dollar wrestling organization. F4Wonline.com recently revealed the 2016 salary details for the four members of the McMahon family namely Vince McMahon, his son Shane McMahon, daughter Stephanie McMahon and son-in-law Triple H.
WWE Chairman Vince McMahon hasn’t been seen inside a WWE ring since he gave Shane and Stephanie joint control over Raw at Payback last year, but the Boss is reportedly still at nearly every taping and remains in 100% creative control over the main roster.
Meanwhile, ‘Shane-o-Mac’ and his sister continue to be a regular feature on WWE television in their roles as Commissioner of SmackDown Live and Raw respectively. Triple H, too, is seen quite often on RAW as the COO of WWE, as well as on NXT posing with anyone who wins a Championship. The Game has also spent a several months last year as the WWE Champion when he won the 2017 Royal Rumble.
So, how much did all these roles pocket the McMahon fam? As reported by F4Wonline.com, Stephanie McMahon earned $2,000,000 in her roles as an executive and a performer in 2016. Her brother, Shane McMahon, surprisingly did even better in his comeback role, as he managed to gross a figure of $2,150,000. Besides taking on the televised authority figure role, Shane also wrestled at Survivor Series and WrestleMania; nearly killing himself at both.
Triple H earned a whopping $3,993,417 in the year 2016. It should come as no surprise that Vince McMahon is the highest earning member of the McMahon family having drawn a huge salary of $5,348,624 last year; which really isn't quite as much as one might think it would be.
